Long Beach Unified School District school calendar – As the 2026-2027 school year is the first school year of the new decade of the 21st century, the first days are the days with orientation and professional development for staff, followed by the first day of classes on September 3, 2026. Friday, June 26, is the last day of school. Winter (Holiday) break starts on Wednesday, 24 December 2026, and school will start on Monday, 5 January 2027.
Presidents’ Day (mid-winter) or February break is Monday, 16 February through Friday, 20 February 2027, and classes resume Monday, February 23.
